Crossett is participating in America Recycle’s Day, Saturday, November 15. The Crossett Area Chamber of Commerce Community Development Committee is hosting a recycling drop-off from 9 am-12 noon that day at the Crossett High School parking lot on Hwy. 133T. Brief History of Crossett, Arkansas The Crossett Lumber Company was organized in early 1899. It was the foundation for the city that was to be called Crossett. In those days everything in the town except churches, schools, and the post office was owned by the Crossett Company.
